creeping, crawling, sliding into my heart
beauteous, glamorous, right from the start
enchanting, amazing, wonderful as you are
intoxicating, adorning, enchanting as a star
preening, fawning, like a love struck puppy
your presence, your essence, keeps me happy
reckless, hopeless, a fish out of water
i proceed, willing indeed, like lamb to slaughter
as much as i am enamored, obsessed that's true
nevertheless, with apparentness, eventually ill forget you
desperate, accomodate, this wanton desire
free myself, relieved of thyself, this i aspire
resent, torment me of your continued existence
tortured, beleagured ,victim of my own persistence
be firm, reaffirm, reconfirm my unwavering conviction
backup, give up, on this crazy contrived contradiction
stricken, heartbroken, of mindless unspoken devotion
so free me, release me, from this unwanted emotion
for as much as i try hard not to be in love with you
hopefully, God willingly, eventually, ill forget it's true
