bad news: internet can kill.

worse, it can make your children kill -- worser still, they'll end up killing you.

and here i thought they only teach them to be sexual deviants. oh well, time to ban the nephew from getting online on nickjr.

rich dad, poor dad

Posted by fartalot at 05:21 AM on June 20, 2007 in il non miei propri et le mie articoli.

come weekend, ill have a spankin' new, er, godchild.

yep, wannabe daddy alex, is gonna have his nth godkid, and i thank God that christmas and birthdays only come once a year.

so for the next few days, ill be window shopping for gifts for two baby girls at rustans. here's hoping i bump into hot mommas again.

anyway, half of my godchildren which is considerable based on my christmas expense, are all adopted.

adopted. as in, not the couples natural progeny. which kinda shows the irony of life.

these couples, good friends of mine, have been trying their best to be blessed by natural offsprings, but to no avail. and thus, the only way to experience the joys of parenthood, is to adopt kids.

it's ironic, well-off and seemingly responsible adults, who are more than prepared to have kids, usually arent blessed with any. and while riding the seemingly endless highways, streets, and alleys of the metro, you see couples who could hardly provide for themselves, lugging in a score of the little tykes.

and while these particular couples could arguably provide a better home, shelter and future for kids, it's the less fortunate who breed them like rabbits. and despite their desire not to get pregnant again, a month after giving birth, well, theyre pregnant again.

and you wonder why you have urban legends of nurses chastising mothers giving birth at the local government hospital for getting pregnant again despite being not able to provide for the previous children.

and then you have news of a baby being slipped into a bag and slid under the seat of a bus and left like it was nothing more than a stray cat.

it's ironic and a whole lot frustrating when you really look at it. several friends of mine have seen specialists, flown to other countries, just to have one single child and you have irresponsible couples behaving like baby factories.

ironic. but fair, i guess. one pair lives a good life but never feels complete, the other, a family, but could never truly provide. so who's rich and who's poor again?
