im not really into fashion. i have an eye for it, but it doesnt feel the same way about me.

ive been an ebay addict for the last, what, 4 years? it has been that long. but in that entire span, ive never bought an article of clothing or any fashionable accessory. 

but last month, i needed to buy something for my sister's birthday. i wanted to buy her something practical at the same time, something she'd be crazy about. i realized she only had a couple of bags she alternately used for the last year. so i thought about it, whipped out my trusty internet browser, pointed it to ebay.com and searched for bags.

a week later (courtesy of EMS shipping), i was giving my beloved sis an authentic coach bag. i knew my sister loved the brand but wouldnt buy one because she was too pratical. she never bought anything for herself that she felt was too exorbitant. we both got that from our dad. but on the other hand, we got from our mom that irrational desire to splurge for our loved ones. 

so for a few days, i searched ebay for the perfect bag for her and managed to win one for less than 150usd. i would think that it was a steal given it retailed for nearly 400usd in the us. it's a great looking bag. i actually loved it despite me being a guy. i loved it so much, i ended up buying another one for my mom (which arrived a week later).

and now, the bigger problem is (aside from being set back around 300usd), my normal item searches in ebay suddenly increased to include choice words like 'gucci','dolce and gabbana','armani', and so on. ordinarily, i wouldnt be doing this, but im actually buying them for family. just an hour ago, i bought my brother a pair of armani sunglasses and im now on the lookout for bargain tag heuer watches for my dad. 

am i suffering from something?
